HEALTHCARE SYSTEM EMPOWERING COMMUNITY
Renewal Healthcare(RH) in partnership with Mariners Church in the month of April 2023 reached out to Soroti /Kalaki district through community based medical outreach at Kakure Seed Secondary School. The medical outreach model of services delivery is very effective as the services are made accessible to the most in need of health care services.
During the 3-day medical camp, the health team treated 2,040 patients with 854 males, 1186 females and 261 of the treated were vulnerable children under the age of five years. 157 pairs of reading glasses were issued to those who had challenges with reading. 400 treated mosquito bed nets were distributed as a prevention strategy for malaria 1,795 patients were tested using rapid diagnostic kits.

NAJJANANKUMBI CAMP
HEALTHCARE SYSTEM EMPOWERING COMMUNITY
Renewal Healthcare(RH) through Wentz Medical center, in partnership with Anderson Mill Baptist Church and Najjanankumbi Rural Community Church reached to Mityana through a community based medical camp in Najjanankumbi. We managed to reach a total of 1168 patients of these 466 were males, 702 females and 125 were vulnerable children under the age of five years and these accessed a range of health care services.
The positivity rate for malaria was highest at 43% indicating an upsurge of the infection within Ssekanyonyi Sub-county community. This calls for comprehensive interventions which include intensive community awareness on preventive measures such as use of treated mosquito bed nets and health education.

CORNERSTONE CLINIC CAMP
HEALTHCARE SYSTEM EMPOWERING COMMUNITY
Renewal Healthcare(RH) in partnership with Cornerstone Church reached out to Buloba with a community based medical camp. We reached out to a total of 2670 patients of these 932 were males, 1585 females and 153 were vulnerable children under the age of five years and these accessed a range of health care services.
All the clients who turned up were given deworming tablets and sensitized on disease prevention measures. The Spiritual care unit was led by Pastor Renson of Renewal Church Buloba. A total number of 52 new converts was registered.

PADER MEDICAL CAMP
HEALTHCARE SYSTEM EMPOWERING COMMUNITY
Renewal Healthcare(RH) in partnership with Austin Ridge Bible Church and Pader Community Church reaches to Pader District four times a year through medical camps and follow- up Clinics t o bring treatment and health education to individuals and families in underserved communities.
We managed to reach a total of 1789 patients of these 393 were males, 1,396 females and 214 were vulnerable children under the age of five years and these accessed a range of health care services. The positivity rate for malaria was highest at 48% indicating an upsurge of the infection within the community. This calls for comprehensive interventions which include intensive community awareness on preventive measures such as use of treated mosquito bed nets and health education.
